YBhg. Datuk Zainal Amanshah bin Zainal Arshad

Datuk Zainal Amanshah bin Zainal Arshad has been an integral part of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) for several years. He was conferred the Court of Emeritus Fellow of the Institute on 19 July 2019, recognising his significant contributions to the field of management. His journey with MIM continued when he was elected as a Board Member on 2 August 2022. On 29 August 2024, Datuk Zainal was appointed Chairman of MIM, where he now leads the Institute in its mission to foster leadership excellence and drive positive change in Malaysia.

Datuk Zainal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Kent, United Kingdom. With over 35 years of experience across both the private sector and government, Datuk Zainal joined TIME dotCom in January 2022 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and was later redesignated as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director in October 2022. By December of the same year, he transitioned to the management team as Executive Director at TT dotCom Sdn Bhd.Datuk Zainal’s career spans multinational corporations and local enterprises. He has served as Vice President for Malaysia & Southeast Asia Emerging Markets and Key Accounts at AECOM, and as the first Chief Executive Officer of InvestKL Corporation, an investment promotion agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), where he played a pivotal role in attracting foreign investments to Greater Kuala Lumpur for eight years.His experience also includes serving as Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of REDtone Digital Berhad (formerly REDtone International Berhad), a public-listed telecommunications provider in Malaysia that successfully went public in 2004. Earlier in his career, he worked with companies such as Unisys (M) Sdn Bhd, NCR Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Solsis Sdn Bhd, Xylog Group, and Lotus Software Sdn Bhd.

Mr. Kabenesh Eliathamby

Kabenesh Eliathamby's professional journey is a testament to his dedication to excellence and
leadership in the finance and corporate sectors. With over 15 years of professional experience, he has shown exceptional leadership and innovative skills that thrusted his career into where he is today. As a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Mr. Kabenesh has paved an illustrious career in finance. Time after time he has displayed his capability as a leader during his time with PwC Malaysia and while he was the Programme Management Office Manager at AmInvestment Bank Bhd. Mr. Kabenesh’s MIM journey is where he reached the pinnacle of his success when he was appointed the CEO of MIM in April 2024. His journey in MIM has been very momentous as from his roles as General Manager, Head of Sales, Deputy CEO and Acting CEO. In each capacity, Mr. Kabenesh has shown unwavering determination and resilience to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the organization. As a leader, Mr. Kabenesh focus is to nurture talent, foster a culture of inclusivity, and drive organizational growth. His contribution to MIM and the broader professional community serves as a testament to his leadership prowess and unwavering dedication to driving positive change. With Mr. Kabenesh leading the charge, MIM is poised to embark on a journey of continued growth, innovation, and success, ensuring a bright and prosperous future for all stakeholders involved.

Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Ramon Navaratnam was educated at the Victoria Institution, Kuala Lumpur and at the University of Malaya in Singapore where he obtained B.A.(Hons) in Econs. He obtained his Dip. in Public Administration from the Royal Institute of Public Administration in London in 1963 and then his Master of Public Administration, M.P.A. (Econs) from Harvard (USA) in 1969.

He joined theMalaysian Civil Service in 1959 and held several posts in his long career of 27years in the Malaysian Treasury where he became Deputy Secretary – General inthe Ministry of Finance. He was promoted as the Secretary - General of theMinistry of Transport in 1986.

He served asAlternate Executive Director of the World Bank in Washington between 1970 –1972 representing Malaysia and 11 South East Asian countries.

After retirementfrom Government in 1989, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bank Buruh from 1989-1994.

Dato’ Yeoh Soo Min

Dato’ Yeoh Soo Min, is an Executive Director of YTL Corporation Berhad and is responsible for the Accounting and Finance systems for the YTL Group. She is also responsible for the setting up of the Travel Division of the YTL Group.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Art (Hons) Degree in Accounting. She did her Articleship at Leigh Carr and Partners, London and has gained vast experience in accounting and management.

Eng Weng is the ex-CEO of Ricoh Malaysia for 20 years and there he gained the experience of managing an organisation with 365 employees. He deployed smart marketing strategies to gain market share for Ricoh and help the organisation to transform into a Digital Office Solutions company.
